mickey mouse looks likely to sign up for a 1yr loan deal from Real Madrid by the weekend. he looks set to turn down Lyon, Newcastle and eternal nemesis, Man Utd for a return to the famous Red jersey of Liverpool.

how wonderful. ha! ha!:(

Heh heh.....Man Utd has yet to express offical interest and make a firm bid for him. :bsmilie: He has got no choice but to return. I just hope that his butt isn't sore with all that bench warming. :sweatsm:

i dunno abt man utd nor am i interested in what they are up to. the news are from Virgin Radio on itunes radio. if its true, then its not that rosy a news to me that mickey's on his way back. sad sad sad.

even if man utd made a bid for him, i don't think they'll make it public. the reason is obvious.

According to BBC sport, his return is on the cards. :) a bit humilating but will be good for the team.

humilating? nope. don't think so.

just disgusting. but if he can get us 20+goals a season... things will change. esp. if he scores against man utd.... ha ha ha!

for LIVERPOOL fans...
Rafa is understood to be ready to listen to offers for Morientes or Cisse.

i don't think they want to face most of the hardcore fans' backlash(the same feeling when we signed paul ince. i never cheer him once.), not now esp. when there's another new united in the background.
just cannot imagine man utd goin public with their bid on owen (although they might still sign him up) and that mickey mouse somehow turned them down. huge embarrassment.

besides making it public will only up mickey's value as other clubs will come in with a counter bid, if any.

Of cause things will change. I've personally seen it happened here. Ppl will sing a different tune once the ride reaches a high point. :bsmilie:

Morienties and cisse.......ahhh hardly near Owen class i think?

Well, he was marketed to United, even sven wants him at United. But so far, United giving him the cold shoulder. :bsmilie: I do not want him at United at all although he is a good SC and i believe many united fans do not want him too.

He is a world class striker, pity United cannot offer him a confirm 1st team place, if not, can go for him liao. On a personal note, he will be better off at Liverpool cos he will be the no.1 SC.

The British press have lots of power and influence, you think Man Utd can hide if they are interested? Not even Chelsea and Ashley Cole can hide!

let's see if he makes the switch back to Liverpool. and once he bangs in 20 odd goals plus the winning goal against man utd, then ppl here will really sing a different tune. :bsmilie:

I'll welcome owen back if he pledges his future. I didn't like the way he left but i am willing to give him a second chance. Only thing is that, would he be that much better than baros? he's not much of a team player either and he tends to disappear for most of a match. a better finisher? certainly but the rumour is that we loan him then pay 10 mil next season. is it worth gambling the money we may need next season? dunno leh.

if he's back, i'll welcome him with open arms. but i can think of other players i'd rather sign with 10 mil.

i think it is pure stupidity to sign him back for 10million quid. we sold him for next to 2 golden taps which durai would've been so proud of!

real madrid did their maths.

I take whoever can help us win premiership.... question is when mickey comes back, will he be laid back like macmanaman... living in the past....

like a central defender or a right winger. with 10 mil, we can sign a real quality player. i think owen is a quality player but we need players in other positions more. with 10 mil, we can sign malbranque and upson, for example.

i think mickey is a pro. he's never been like macca and probably never will be. he would be an asset if we could afford it but it's a question of whether it's worth spending the little money we have on him when we need players in other positions more.
of course, it also sucks that if we signed owen for 10 mil, it means that real suckered us of 2 mil. mickey better be ready to take a major pay cut, if nothing, at least for what he did to us.

anyway, rafa says no offer made for owen yet.

he buy Owen a not I dun know... But I certainly do not want to see Cisse gone... 1 person can go is Kelong King Taroe... :bsmilie:

I think he is a bit poor thing la. Got touted and kicked around. Hiaz....afterall, he is still England's no.1 SC. Someone should just buy him and forget about the whole hoohaa.

Alex say no and now Benitaz also say no. Only Souness interested. He might as well stay and fight for his place. I dun believe Baptista is better than him. Robinho can play as AMC. Somemore Ronaldo and Raul are not performing well last season.
