Liverpudians hear me. It is true what many of you have heard, Carlo Ancelotti has gathered an army and as i speak, that army is drawing nearer to put a stop to our European quest. Believe me when i say we have a difficult time ahead of us but if we are to be prepared for it, we must first of all BELIEVE. I stand here before you now truthfully unafraid. WHY? Because i won last season's UEFA Cup? NO! I stand here without fear because i remember. I remember that i am here not because of the glorious history that we're going to create before us, but because of the glorious Liverpool European history that lies behind us. I remember that for 21 years, we have tried to bring that cup permanently to Anfield but came close to nothing. I remember that for 21 years, many have mocked at us for for our decline in the European stage. And after two decades of hardwork, i remember that which matters most, WE ARE BACK IN THE FINALS!!!
Tonight, let us send a message to Milan and the rest of the clubs in Europe. Tonight let us shake Istanbul up. Tonight, let us tremble Milan with our songs, roars and chanting. Let us be heard from Istanbul to Anfield and to every part of this earth. Tonight, let us make them remember... WE ARE LIVERPOOL and WE ARE BACK TO CLAIM BACK OUR CUP!!!
