I don't care if others insist that the better team lost. All I care is that Liverpool is the 2005 Champion's League winner.

Milan might be the better team in the 1st half, but I think Liverpool gave them more than a run for their money in the 2nd half.

Loved the way Stevie G sparked the goal rush. Milan looked super stunned conceding 3 goals in 6 mins ;p

Kudos to Liverpool for that fantastic 2nd half fightback.
Dudek was god during the extra time and penalty shootout.

Low point is Traore had a poor game.....but that doesn't matter now

what better team??? haha ;p

in the first half, Milan ruled. i thought the free kick in the 1st minute was absolute rubbish.

we ran them socks and ties all over in the 2nd half! :D

from then on, it was a matter of running it till P.K and for us to lift it high up!

and to think Shevchenko misses the last penalty kick brought extra joy! he has had a torrid time against the Reds' defence and to think he nearly snatched it at the death of Extra Time! what a superb double save from Dudek!!

LIVERPOOL's Final! the best Final so far!

time for a short nap!! :bsmilie:

what a victory!

You can see the hunger in Liverpool in the 2nd half, and the bo cham attitude Milan had in the 2nd half... they thot that they had the time tied up and were simply going through the motions.

On a even brighter note, Gerrard hints that he would be committing himself to Liverpool next season

Wah that Ronaldinho must be sucking his thumb.....after he said that no english club will progress into the quarter-finals. :bsmilie:

i was wondering why was he dancing.....
He must have taken inspiration from his predecessor Bruce "jelly legs" Grobbelaar, who used the same antics to distract Roma players during the PK shootout in the '84 final, Pool eventually won the Euro Cup that year. :D

hahahahhaha

so funny!!

Gotta salute Carragher for an outstanding performance in defence, and even fighting on when he was injured, and Gerrard sure do make an outstanding right-back, Serginho was totally neutralized.

REDS!!!

REDS!!!

REDS!!!

NEVER BEEN PROUDER TO BE A RED!!!

Finally I have something to cheer about my team..... after so many years....

erm...
anyone has any idea how to get to sleep now?

Dream about Liverpool winning the treble next season :)

See you guys next season. What a fantabulous way to end it.
*speechless*

I am hoping Uefa will let us defend the title... Maybe we will finally get the chance to be the 1st back to back European Cup Champions when we almost did it 20 years ago in Heysel....

just got back from PBlack... unbelievable!
