looks like the "leaked" designs were spot on

this one is okay to me but i find the home and away designs quite ugly leh. hope that adidas had improved the design from these early sketches.
nice win for the lads. nice for bellamy to get a goal. now, if only we can get a good right winger. anyone other than me a bit worried about the middle? without hamann, we have only 3 good players there, one injured we're in trouble. even in the reserves, i think we're playing our young defenders out of position in there. not really sold on zenden playing middle. someone like hamman, with his ability to take control and cool things down is invaluable. momo still too hyper and lack maturity and positional sense to control the pace of the game. but understand why rafa let him go, his wages probably very siong....
hope we can pick up a young lad who can play there and ease him in. heard we were after zapater but now no more news. sigh, i think rafa is running low on $$$. too many in, not enough out.
btw, am i the only one who thought the swiss winger tranquillo barnetta deserves a look. i know looking at just performances in the world cup is not enough but i thought he did rather well enough to warrant a deeper look. young, versatile and probably quite cheap....

apparently we lost out on the race to sign Duff over from Chelski as he opted for $$ on a BSP60k/week deal at Newcastle.:bsmilie:

we can't afford another sicknote on the team!! i was wondering where Newcastle gets all their $$!! and even best, how we get so much $$ and can bid here, bid there...:bsmilie:
