rafa is resigned to having cisse around in the sick bay and i guess cisse really has to work hard to try and get back by december and hopefully move out by january's transfer.

Sigh, I really wonder if we're signing any player at all except for mark gonzalez and paletta. It looks to me like rafa is not having much to spend again and with the money from ciise's sale now gone....
Is it just me or we seem to be among the poorest clubs these days? Spurs is spending money like water. They have signed so many players these 2 seasons. Everytime you hear of a player, they are linked to it. Everton too are signing players like mad. johnson and lescott are both good signings. How much does rafa have to spend i wonder?

Anyway, I won't begrudge ciise about the loss in transfer revenue. He's having a nightmare time now. Missing the world cup is certainly painful enough. you never know if you'll ever have a chance again. And he certainly must have suffered more than his fair share of pain. both times were such ugly breaks, must really hurt. He should be back in Nov apparently. Hope he recovers his fitness and confidence as well as hopefully be more mature by then. Rafa should really make him watch all the match videos during his recovery period to show him what he's doing wrong. He's not a bad player but just somewhat one dimensional with too large a mouth for his own good.
