Very sad
But let's not take anything away from Everton. Mistakes or not, they showed more desire, fluency and killer instinct. This is a good blues side and they deserved the win and their place on the league table. There is no shame in losing to a better team and I wear the red shirt on the train home with pride though tinged with sadness. This is an important lesson and I hope it would be heeded before it's too late.
We have a lot to prove now. Frankly, had not been impressed by this season's Liverpool except in the Chelsea game. lack fluency, lack ideas and the defence lacks understanding. Been complaining so often about this, it probably sounds like an old tune to most of you. But we have not shown ourselves to be good enough and Everton called our bluff and won. C'mon Rafa, we're still behind you. The time for trading players is over, now it's time to turn a group of players into a team.
You'll Never Walk Alone.
