trust in Rafa. yeahhh:D

In RAFA we trust......

But in $$$ I trust more.... :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Now as strikers, we have God, Crouch, Bellamy, Kuyt and Pongolle. I see Garcia and Kewell more as midfielders who can play as striker if no other choice. So which is the ideal:

If playing a 4-5-1 who should be the one?

My vote, Bellamy
If playing a 4-4-2 who should be the 2?

My Vote, God and Bellamy

You forgotten that Crouch is Rafa's fav. Rain or shine, clumsy or not, Crouch will be up front :bsmilie:

can't wait for this sat. game

junction 8 bishan is show this match live on their big screen:thumbsup:

Welcome Kuyt!
Nice to have another option in attack.looks like a strong forward, good in the air (powerful headers, unlike crouchie's flicks) and not afraid to take shots at goal. Apparently set up quite a few too.If he can do for us what ruud did for man utd, it would be a dream come true.

Imagine our options up front now. for pace, we can have bellamy and pongolle (though i think pongolle may not be with us for long. pity, as i think he's a good player). And crouch and kuyt could make a frightening pair lurking in the box with pennant and gonzalez swinging in the crosses...and then there's fowler with his intelligence and instinct. add in garcia with his tricks and technique (and the unfortunate ability to lose the ball), we have an awesome variety to mix and match with in our front line.
Good luck lads, for the match against Sheffield, and also against Haifa. Hope they keep their heads and work their socks off. YNWA.

i've my robbie fowler.

fowler is the mentor and the senior to the players. Hoooo !!!!;)

Quite a disappointment nite for all liverpool fans here...
Liverpool only manage to drew 1-1 with the blades.
Sure not the kinda opening game every liverpool fan wanted.

Anyway... a draw is always better than a defeat.
Hopefully they will do much better in the next game.

Not sure how serious is Riise's injury...
Seems like he was badly tackled there while crossing the ball...
Hope he will be fine soon.

Rafa had fielded a relatively inexperience squad against Sheffield United. I wonder what was his reason to start with such a young squad??

to be honest i felt fowler was horrible;p

well the lineup abit kinda surprise. esp i wish to see alonso there. Nevertheless there is still a long way to go. Cheerr up we Lpool fans;)

expected a draw. so not surprised becos in the past when we met sheff utd, always hard and tough game.

i think its a good result considering the fact that the blades are really worked up for their first home game of the season! but then, there's only one Stevie G!!!

could've won the game but i guess i'm happy with a draw.

tuesday got another CL game. go Reds go!

Hugely dissapointing game. Not to discount blades (they played very well), but it was easy 3 points to grab and they let the chance slip.
