Another interesting rumour....

One player who could be leaving Anfield is Djimi Traore. The Daily Mirror says that ‘Fulham want Traore to solve their defensive problems’.
Erm, hang on a moment, clearly there’s been a dreadful misunderstanding somewhere....

Hehe... perhaps we can have a buy Traore, get josemi free deal? oppps.... josemi already gone...!

actually hor what ranieri did to valencia is ot as bad as what souness did to liverpool.... thats what i feel...

Apparently when Benitez first arrived at Liverpool, he wanted to sell Traore (who wouldn't?). But Traore begged him to let him stay and he was willing to play in any position in order to stay at LFC (alamak die hard LFC fan).

Then Benitez said to Traore "Bend down".

They say the rest is history.

Dun understand, when you say "bend down", do you mean bend forward to or backwards away from? :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

3-1 down.

Hyypia mistimed a challenge and missed the ball completely. and Carson brought down the striker for a Penalty to Luton.

unbelievable.
and add to that, Cisse missed a spot kick!

3-3!!!!

can la can la!

sibeh Exciting!! 3-1 and you thought u've won!! :bsmilie:

Scott Carson is still raw and inexperienced.

Alonso scored 2 super goals.

the most spectacular 2nd goal was scored from the Reds own half. super strike!:bsmilie:

Kewell is in the form of his life! super twists and turns and flicks! really reminiscent of the days at Leeds.

Luton Town really gave us a game.

5-3 to LIVERPOOL!!

to those who missed this game... hahaha!

ye ye ye....finally 5th goal...

4th rd here we come

Actually, having "survived" watching Istanbul, i was pretty cool when liverpool is 3-1 down... deep down i knew we would come back... yes, perhaps not to win 5-3 with a 60-yard goal but at least a draw and a replay at Anfield, which we would then have win convincingly.

In term of performace, Hyypia, is very poor. Carson should have done better with the 2nd goal but unlucky in the penalty. I am surprise he did not protest for penalty as the player STEPPED on him and got the penalty!

Crouch also have one of his worst games for liverpool as he seems like not up to the physical challenges. Just hope he don't become a Heskey.....:)

Well hope the mistakes made n the below par performance is not a sign of fatique.

The next few matches are crucial. Come on mighty REDS, go go go!

wahhh... suddenly this thread no more traffic.... so sad

It will come alive again i guess, once we made our first official signing for this transfer window.
