surprisingly, his record in the french team is very good. I think the problem with Cisse is that he;s the type that needs the Manager's sayang....

talent wise, he definitely has it. physique also no problem... attitude is the issue i think.

i bet everyone saw the look on his face when he was substituted. he needs to play more frequently and for longer period to get some sharpness back into his game.

but all in all, he's likely to wave goodbye come January.:what:

Sell Cisse, Morrientes, Crouch, Pongole and Mellor and buy Ronaldinho, that guy is magic. Than play 4-5-1

So obvious that Sissoko was heading for a red card with so many mistimed tackles in the match last night, and yet Benitez let him play on. And we all know what happened next. What was Benitez thinking?!? And why only sub Crouch out only after 75 minutes of play? He should've started Cisse and Sunderland could truly have been toasted for sure. ;p

the whole world wished for that too! i watched Barca against Real Madrid. this guy's from another planet!!! i can imagine having him with Gerrard and Alonso!!! woohooo!
but i think only Chelski has the £££ to sign Ronaldinho. even so, Ronaldinho might not be keen to join them! hehehe

come to think of it, ManUtd almost signed him!!

Yep - was just telling my wife about it, then it happened. Lucky was 2-0 up then, if not :sweat: :sweat:

souness cannot make it as a manager. but he is a stop-gap solution to newcastle's woes. most prob next season the tyneside team will have a new gaffer. i won't be surprised if it's Alan Shearer! :bsmilie:

newcastle have wonderful midfielders, emre, scott parker, nolberto solano etc.etc.
they have shay given and stephen carr in defence. and the horrendous boumsong and the joker bramble, its not wonder they are leaking goals by the truckload in the back. :bsmilie:
