Lens servicing and cleaning

I have two very old lens, both AFS, one a Nikon 35-70mm and another a Nikon 70-210mm, about 10 years old. Recently I noticed some fungus spots inside the lenses. Should I take this back to Nikon Service Center or are there other professional shops that can do the cleaning and servicing?

Any recommendations?

sent my MF28-85 AIS with plenty of fungus for cleaning. all removed except for 1 small stain. quite good considering the condition the lens was exposed to and the duration of the existence of the fungus. cost SGD70 before gst.

For zoom lenses, I dont think you should trust any third party cleaners, even if they accept. Recommend you go to Nikon Service Centre to have it done. From what a previous poster said about $70+ it is quite reasonable.
