Really? Haven't occured to me b4 though. Usually pics taken on my film cam, mounted on tripod and triggering with my cable release exhibits very gd sharpness all the time, unless i'm handholding.

However your tests do not work for me because I do not shoot film, I shoot at maximum aperture a lot and being an engineer, there is too much variation in your testing (test at different times and not testing multiple samples) to convince me. Nevertheless, if you are a film person shooting at F8 a lot, you should talk to snoweagle. I think we digital people have more problems at hand because we can shoot as many test shots as we want.

Anyway I think snoweagle is petty confident on his own results and I will say what i say again, take everything with a pinch of salt. Now that you set it very clear on your test M.O., everyone can look, comprehend or interpret your findings.

Correct, that's why to make sure, i always do tests myself. Of cos while doing those test just have to sacrifice some film though, but worth it
