Hooray! The F1 questions are back
The threads form last year should be easily available using search function ... the light and the cars are still the same.

with everyone trying to take the same type of pics, it will really need some creativity to get going..
i won't be shooting, cos i will be working at site.. sianz.. maybe i can bring a small compact or PnS to secretly shoot sth while on the job.. or during break.. maybe can snap with the drivers..
Depending on where you are shooting. If at ground level, get as close to the fence as possible to blur out the fencing. Large aperture medium zoom. If you are shooting from top of stand, then a longer zoom will be okay. The light is quite bright so lighting is not much of a problem. Main problem is getting a good location to shoot from.
For newbies who have not shot in F1 before, you can try out your camera settings when they start testing the lights a few days before the event.
