[ Lens ] m.Zuiko 60/f2.8 Macro

yes i used the onboard diffuser, willing to learn...any recomm? thks.

Try Orient Photo in SLS. They should have a bunch and other nifty stuff for macro.

Suggest you stop down to F8 or lower, even F16 to get enough depth of field to get the whole insect sharp. Since you are using a flash, should have no problem with amount of light.

thks, will give it a try. I have an old Lambency from my attic that i will dust off and try. the thing now is trying to balance and not use a tripod...

Bro i am no expert either, but what i know is that placement of flash important. Usually i used an external flash with remote flash trigger so that i can aim the flash on place where i feel will have less shadow. Of cause i use simple diffuser also. There are alot of pros in Macro section, you can learn more from them.

thks for your help. u mean hand-held slave flash? or a tripod?

M43 + 60mm lens is light, so handheld works great. Flexible to move flash around at any angle.
Anyway i have sold my OMD few months back and concentrate on my DSLR, but i cannot help to keep coming to the M43 forum. Perhaps i will come back to M43 again, especially for Macro and i'll definitely get 60mm.

Yup :-)

It's more of a protection hood than an optical hood. I'm too lazy to use lens cap.

I sold away one of my dslr prime lens and purchased a epl5 +60mm at last. I am back to m4/3. hope to find time for some serious macro shot soon.

If you guys feel strongly about the price being way too high, make some noise in their facebook. Our community managed to convince Olympus to lower than FL-600R flash price to something more reasonable by rallying together and being reasonable with facts put out in their facebook site.

I want to make noise abt the panny 45 2.8. It's nearly $200 more than Internet prices.
