Hey tsaieh, which shop in BKK you bought from?

Interested to know which shop too!

My brother went to couple of shops and he finally got the lens from this shop. Their serive were quite good compare to others. They lend my bro the body to test the lens and a small figure to test since it a macro lens. Haha.
The shop is " world camera group co. Ltd" 393 charoenkrung rd, pomprab, pomprabsattrupai, bangkok 10100

They sell many Oly camera and lenses and prices are so much cheaper than Singapore.

Is this considered water goods price?

There is no such things as water goods price. This shop is official Olympus retailers. Their shop is designed by Olympus from my conversation with the shop.

I think dc power is affiliated to shop@dcfever which I have really good experience with..

Tsai, await for your photo. :)

I got this lens some time back, but only found time to shoot this evening. Using Metz MS-15 macro flash in OMD Wireless mode. Doesn't always sync.

anyone bought the hood for this lens? necessary to use that hood? care to share where u bought it and price? tks. :)

I think if you're using this lens solely for macro, the hood is not necessary (mostly stopped down for DOF). Furthermore, with the hood extended, it'll take up much of the working distance and you'll have problems with flash. With hood retracted, the focus limiter is less (or not) accessible. From what I see from the pics, the focus ring will be covered by the retracted hood.

Not too sure about flare when used wide open for normal shots, tho.

this is the 'lure' of a fishing-rod atop a frog fish. the 60mm Macro was set at 1:1 because i do not have a proper port for it, it was in my 12-50mm port. the OMD was in a Nauticam housing and i used an Inon Z240 strobe.
