Lens do i required...

I've a 18-135 now, it's the kit lens. Im thinking, if I upgrade in the future, is getting the 24-105L kinda stupid? Cos I lose range n aperture stays at 4 only. Looking for a better walk ard Lens for my 550D. But I will be upgrading to FF in the future, so I'd rather not get a efs lens.
What do you expect from full frame? Or just monkey see, monkey do cause other people talk about it?

Having to shoot moving people (my friends) at night/in shopping malls is so hard! getting the ISO up makes images noisy, thus i dont allow myself to shoot above iso 1600. my 50mm 1.8 auto-focuses v slowly, till an extent where i cant get the shot. HELP. :<
You could a) google about focusing in low light, and b) open a new thread if you think your problem is unique (which is unlikely as the Google results will tell you. But it's not polite to crash into other people's thread with your own topics and questions.
It's not the lens that is focusing, it's the camera and the AF system inside the body. The lens just gets commands like "turn this way 3.5 degree" ..

Hello all,

I'am just starting to love taking pictures especially a unique scenery and my questions is I only have a basic lens Canon 550D 18-55 any feedback?

Much appreciate!

18-55mm is probably the best lens for you to start with. Remember... you control the gears and not the gears control you! Start shooting and share your pictures with us! :)

Just to give u some encouragement:

My photo was shortlisted for an exhibition showcase, among other photos from other photographers who used all sorts of lens.

And mine was only a 18-55 mm, kit lens. I didn't even do PP on the photo

So the thing is that it's not the lens. It's the user.....
