Leica Q Type 116 - fixed lens 1.7/28 and full frame camera!

I am using a Lim's half case. I actually got the original leica handgrip. I was wondering whether there are hlf cases that i can get with the leica grip fitted to the cam.

Hmmm not too sure about that. But to fit the original leica Q handgrip with a half case would then mean the half case would have to have its bottom taken away and also have a cut out for the hand grip.

Actually, there is a half case for the M240 which is fitted with a grip, the leica one with gps. Its bottom extended and bo cut outs for the handgrip. The case follows the shape of the hand grip. But very ex... Saw it on ebay.

Wow. That doesn't look too bad actually. But it does also make the m240 look a bit more squarish. I'm very much happy with my lim's half case [emoji4]

I'm at Japan now. Shocked by the amount of premium we are paying for A&A products. It is so cheap over here.

how much is it for a strap like this? o.O

Does anyone have photos of leica Q shooting into a sunrise or sunset? I want to see the dynamic range of the sensor. Whether it can capture the sunrays or not. Something like these film shots I shot on my medium format film camera.

I am considering getting the leica Q for my wide angle documentary shots. Jeff tan's shots are nice, but the lighting was mostly flat due to the bad weather, or night time shots. I haven't really seen any Leica Q shots done at sunrise or sunset, with the light wrapping around the subject's body or face. Wondering if anyone has some shots that can share here?

Can't really capture sunrays. I think it's something to do with the sensor on the Q. I usually can only get the rays out after some post processing

Is that the price in sgd? If so, and it's first hand, go ahead. It comes with light room 6 too! And yes it's got warranty!

That website has alot of bad reviews, better not buy from it. If i get from the reputable australian stores, it's $5180 after tax refund. Still much cheaper than singapore and europe i must say.

Germany VAT is 19%, but can only get back at most 12% at the airport, making it abt $5550 sgd.

So far Australia still the cheapest i've found so far

Well, if it's reputable and anything below $5300 I personally think it's a great offer! Definitely will feel a pinch purchasing it. But it's not a decision you'll regret!

Whatever pricing you get overseas, factor in 7pct GST and declare upon arrival in Singapore.
The penalty to evade is heavy and your reputation is also at stake if caught and the case publicised.
Btw i am not working for any camera company but just that I know ppl who were caught and fined heavily.
Our personal reputation is definitely worth more than any value in 'savings' of being known as a cheat.

What if i Buy it overseas and take it out and use it straight away, putting it together with the rest of my camera equipment in my camera bag?

Hard to find further discounts in sgp. They will all tell you, the waiting list is long and so on. And yes. The price is about there. I got my Q when it first came out though and I got it at $400-500 cheaper.
