leica M240 trade in offer.. any good?

Didn't see any trade-in promotion at the Leica/sg website, is the promotion available only to those who received the email?

As low as 3k to 4.5k depends on condition for M9 & M9-p.

A friend traded in his heavily used m9, without box, at 3.5K. Another traded in a good condition m9-p silver with box at 6.5k.
