it sure sounds tempting but i won't buy into it because it feels like he is making use of the "M9 dream" to entice people into buying his merchandises and to make some quick bucks?

A crazy project like this can take a while. I'll first have to get my own camera. I have no idea if or when you'll get yours (if you're lucky). It depends on many things. If every visitor on this site had bought a T-shirt or submitted a photo, I could give away a couple of M9s and some lenses every week! This won't happen, of course, but it illustrates the power in numbers. Again, I can't promise anything, but there is a small chance you'll get a Leica M9 too.

sounds more like asking people to buy his merchandise to fund for HIS own M9.
