I have a Leica 50mm Noctilux f/0.95 which I hardly use. Im thinking of selling it off and buying secound Leica M9 and a 50mm Summilux f/1.4.... I'm so torn....
The Noct is a niche lens for (i) certain type of look and (ii) bragging rights (fastest lens).
The Noct is not an everyday lens. It is so big, not very practical to lug around.
this is like one of those, "N or C" or "film or digital"... everyone can have a point of view of what they would do, but at the end of the day, it is really what works for you.I have a Leica 50mm Noctilux f/0.95 which I hardly use. I'll keep the Noct and get the Lux as well. Never a second digital body; maybe a film body.
Lens' value stays or will rise but digital body definitely will drop. However, I'm lens fetish.![]()
