mine is a Sony G500 OEM.....beautiful image, TRUE flat screen but it is huge....

those cheaper "flat screen" models are not really flat, esp philips one...it is actually a curved screen with a FLAT GLASS in front...so u will see the bottom and top of the screen is cruved outward...

err..it is 21"

but the one i am using consider old model...the latest one should be G520...high max resolution and refresh rate...now i am running 1600 x 1200 @ 85Hz....good enough already

y nv consider the 19" model which is ard 50% of the 21"er??

I think u can make do with 2" less....:D
 

or get 2 x 17" and a matrox G550 dual head

u can edit photo on one screen and surf net/IRC on the other

btw, someone selling a 19" monitor at $280 here
