Hi ho!
I'm back from my wedding leave and I have some news to update.
Chamoxa (Funan) is the sole agent of the range of Innoplus photo-entertainment products. I'm really pleased to receive feedback from ClubSnap members on my product.
The new shipment of the Innoplus Phototainer 20GB and 40GB is coming in within two weeks.
I will update this thread on pricing and availability information.
Some answers to questions that were forwarded to me (in person or via PM)
Why did the promotion end?
- The promotion of the Phototainer at the price of $819 (with battery) has ended due to the allocation of units to ClubSnap (5 units).
Are you going to give another promotion on the Phototainer?
- I will definitely come up with something. I'm just agonising over what freebies to bundle with the Phototainer. Not to mention that I have to argue long and loud with my management on ClubSnap's (and other 2 other photo forums') entitlement.
Can I upgrade my hard disk capacity (for existing users)?
- Yes, you can, only after the warranty period of 1 year. I'll be more than willing to assist you in upgrading your hard disk capacity. I'm waiting too - I got $300 to see what capacity I can get next year.
Fwah, cannot play movies leh!
- This product is catered to the dedicated photographer. The MP3 capability is more like an afterthought from the engineers. I guess I could sit and listen to my MP3 while waiting for the right light to take a picture.
Err, I'm from a photography club in XXXX-school. Have discount or not?
- Educational or academic pricing is not originally planned. But I can work out something for schools if you have your teacher-in-charge to approach us.
What about bulk purchase? Like ClubSnap's enterprising MO?
- Well... I would like an individual member to start the MO and I can work from there. If a member starts a MO and response is good, my management will face my wrath and grudgingly agree to lower bulk purchase prices.
What number amounts to bulk purchase?
- Hahaha. I have a bulk order of 101 units (why the odd number? I think the director of the company wanted one too) and they got a very very good price. For ClubSnappers, a number of 10 would be good (no... make that 11 :bsmilie: ).
