Seems like Canon is dropping the prices across the whole range. I bought a S45 for $950 2 weeks ago, my brother told me a week later that the price was $890. Just 2 days ago my colleague bought the same camera for $850 at AP.

u looking for brand new? I bought mine at 1000 from Sitex. AP was the one manning the Canon booth then.

no lah - decided not to get rid of my G2 to buy the C50. Just stick with it & make the best out of it

You may be mistaken. Bought G3 before CNY at SLS for $1180 w/o gst. G2's price and only black @$1030 w/o gst. Was told only black G2 in stock but still can get at Best Parkway champagne colour $1200+
