Seriously, a few places do sell Pentax lenses. They include Cathay Photo, Alan Photo, Song Brothers (Funan), John 3:16 and some smaller shops in Funan. You can also try the Sigma and Tamron branded lenses too..

Wow, Pentax K10D sure looks good. I went from Pentax *ist DS to Olympus E-330. maybe can switch back to Pentax with this K10D...

Pity that unlike the *ist D, there is no ISO 3200 and PC Socket. Hoping for confirmation that it will be compatible with older TTL flashes.

I was very much interested in the D80 but with this beautiful addition to the Pentax lineup and a price like that... Pentax here I come too.... :sweat:

This does make the K10 D look yummy certainly. $ony should learn this from Pentax.

The 7D replacement is not out yet though, it's really quite late, hope the build in technology will be the latest one also :think: . Hope it price won't be much higher than the K10 D.

Wow exciting times

I can finally bring out my pentax lenses. Been keeping them since selling my Z1p and Z1 away many years ago.

Anyone has any lobang with Pentax? Get the camera out for testing? Let's go shoot fashion with the K10D

Wow..K10D really seems to be the ONE for Pentax.. I believe it will be affordably priced, as with all Pentax Dslrs.. Weather-sealed body, 10Mp, SR, AD etc.. Think I have juz become a potential Pentax user liao..

With all the revenue spent on their advertising blitz ........ it is unlikely that Sony can match the price of K10D for a camera of similar calibre ..... ..

This new camera just stole the thunder from the Nikon D80 and I dare say D200. Kudos to Pentax. And the beautiful thing is you can pick up so many Pentax mount lenses to stick on the front end. But local agent to market more aggresively and buck up - no info brochures on the K100D at Comex was unforgivable. Aiyah! Why never announce this new camera before Comex?!:cry:

I do hope the K10D will make a name for Pentax and put them back into DSLR mainstream instead of a niche player.
I understand the Sony A100 has actually captured 25% of the Japanese market during the first month of launch, mostly at Canon's and Nikon's expense. Can the Pentax K10D do the same? They really need all the marketing prowess similar to Sony..just look at the publicity.

They are too slow already. Also, the 22bit ADC converting to 12bit RAW seems to be a half-baked product to me. :think:
