Besides LX3 rocks, don't mind sharing with us more on the reason for conversion?

I guess one of the main reasons must be size and portability? A LX3 is definitely much easier to bring along with u everywhere compared to a 5D?

Cos it "Boomz"!! haha... size and weight matters. I can take beautiful photographs out of LX3 too. I don't see a need to put extra stress on myself when i go out with a 5D. And the main reason, Im not a proffesional photographer and since LX3 does a competent enough job of taking beautiful photos, why not just change, point and shoot! Idiot automatic boomz... haha

GH1 is a great replacement to my 8-year old CoolPix 5000. I actually used my CP5K as a yardstick. Haven't found any digital camera dat can match its specs and better until the GH1 came along.

I think you made the right choice. Owning an SLR is like owning a baby, after spending a sum of money, still got to take care of it especially from dust, dirt and humidity.

yeah thats true, I'm thinking of selling away my Nikon D80 and get a LX3 instead. I hardly bring my D80 out due to its size, and thus miss alot of chances to take photo. WIth the size of LX3 I may be able to bring it wherever I go.

Hey! ur D80 is capable of many things i believe the LX3 is not able to do!

for one u can fit on a 200mm lens and zoom in to the action which the lx3 will never be able to achieve.

U may just be using the d80 for something its not really good at (small, portable and inconspicous take anyway take any pic camera)

u prob need more than 1 camera/lens to fulfill ur needs.
