I love your 2 day Ebay delivery! And the colored RED body!!
But I paid way less for my dual k-x kit (w 55-300mm). My damage is like about SG $1025 including shipping to Sg. I expect the package to reach me within the next 2 weeks based on an earlier amazon.com buyer's opinion. So that's a whopping SG $1250 (yours) minus SG$1025 (mine) = SG $225 savings for me!
I also plan to sell the 18-55mm kit lens unused (brand new) so it should easily fetch me another $75 to $100 in the Buy/Sell section. So, all in all, I have made a savings of about $225 + $75 = $300.
Yes, I had to sacrifice the urge to own a colored body since both the kits I ordered (55-300 and 50-200) were available in black only at the phenomenal pricing in my first post in this thread... and thus I have ended up with another black K-x body for personal use and one more for sale in the near future... sigh! I am hoping maybe I can exchange my black body with black 18-55mm in the near future for a colored kit here if anyone is interested.
Anyways, I guess I was just plain lucky... because most other sites list the same it at US $799... so it seems you also got a lower price than normal! That too before X'mas when prices were indeed higher than now. Not bad at all!!
But the pricing for the orange body is quite high... seems to be in line with other web sites selling the uncommon colors such as orange, olive green, purple, pink, yellow, etc.

Hi newbie here,
Being part-time student plus low budget, give me difficult decision to choose whether to buy K-x from amazon, ebay or local store. I dunt have credit card or debit card and cant apply for one T.T so I think i cant buy from ebay or amazon. But the price simply make me crazy...
I guess I'll keep reminding me that buying from local store can get me free memory card, baterry charger and local warranty (simillar period with my time staying in SG).
Looking forward to join as Pentaxian ^^

If you are really on a low budget, you should probably consider a second hand older model too.
Buying a K-x kit only, you should probably just buy locally. It seems only the 55-300mm kit is worth ordering from overseas.

Yup considering K-x with 18-55 and 50-200 only not really need of 300mm telezoom, going to shoot family event and such, so maybe going with AF360FGZ flash. Do they give discount when i buy it together with the camera? Just wondering. Beside that i also have fz28 but the indoor performance not quite good (but its better compare with other compact camera).

After arriving at your pseudo USA address, it'll take about 1 week to arrive at your door step. You have to pay for GST if your item is >SGD400. Else, just pay for the vpost shipping on top of any shipping charges to your USA address.
