Anyway, For those, interested in getting the NEW ridata, you may get them from AP of Sim Lim Square.

Most of the stocks have been out and the next batch will be in around Sat.

Meanwhile, just to update,

For people interested in getting 512, two other brands worth looking into:

Estimated street price
Hagiwara : 189
Kingston: 5 years warranty
PNY also comes with 5 years warranty.

Hagiwara SD:
SD 128 $77
SD 256 $137

The other photoshop, which IMO has good service, really good service is Funan Centre: John 3-16 Level 04. You can find ridata there.

eh? where did u asked? got a fren got his 512mb 52x CF1 from J3:16, 5 years warranty. I suppose other retailers is the same for the new Ridata cards?

Was at Nokia Service Center at Tampines last Friday. Beside it was a shop selling electronics stuffs. Saw Ridata 128MB with 5 years warranty stamped on the CF or Box, selling for $9x.xx IIRC.

I just only asked like 3 weeks' ago.
He says the Ridata 52x is only 1 yr,
the older ones seems to be 5 yrs instead
but now that i rem, the 1 yr one I asked was a 1 GB CF.
Never asked about the 512mb, coz he did not have stock then

If you read the thread, the older blue-white ones are 1 year wty, while the newer brown ones are 5 years according to Flashcard who is one of the distributors.

He told me 1 yr, my fren was there to verify it.

Looks like change of 'promotion'?
I did not take up for the offer coz 1 vs 5 yr warranty then.
Now I can reconsider.
