Larger SmartMedia Card, Slower Writing???

Hi guys

I just bought a 128Mb SM for my C700. Have always being using the 32Mb that came with the DC.

I noticed that after each shot, the time taken to "write" the image onto the SM card seemed to be longer than before.

Is this normal? Did you guys notice this?

PS: It is a N-plus 128Mb from AP. Paid $90.

I think SM has no write/read speed. Regardless of the size, they all read/write the same speed. Only CF have.

I notice that as you go more pic on the memory card, the writing of new pics gets longer. Am I imagining things?

maybe it's becos the camera is in the process of creatig a new folder?

Seems like the access time gets lesser as the mb increases!?
