Hey, guys, I went to B&H and Adorama site to investigate the shipping cost, and I think we can get them to ship to Singapore economically given enough orders. Let me play around the different configurations to see what's possible. So here i have:

1. shadowleong: 1 x Velvia 50 (4x5)
2. knight84: a few rolls of Velvia 50 (120)
3. ahhong: a box provia 100f (4x5)

I think we need quite a bit more orders to rationalize the cost of shipping. I may absorb some surpluses first. Let me work on it!

losheng, if you need more orders to proceed, iwill get a box of delta400

the last mass order i conducted was for 4x5 velvia 50. i found Adorama product prices and shipping costs to be lower. There seems to be a point where the shipping costs per film box is optimised. i remembered it was 4 or 5 boxes of 4x5. After that the shipping costs get expensive again(maybe they need a bigger box) untl you hit 9-10 boxes.

Gonna try exposing on paper this time. Great recommendation by wootsk. ;p BTW, will freestylephoto have a better shipping price? Also anyone wants to get print file 4x5 sleeves?

Would you like to try Acros 100? I've been smitten after trying the 120 ones with microphen. I've had a box of Acros 4x5, and you are welcome to test a sheet or two. I won't mind picking stocking up another box or two if you like to get some as well.

If you expose paper do you develop with normal developers or paper developer?

Maybe can give it a try. Maybe i should look around adorama for other 4x5 film to get

Hey guys I just checked out Freestyle and adorama, it seems freestyle has more choices for film types but are slightly more expensive. Shipping wise no idea but I found this

Arista EDU Ultra B&W 100 iso 4x5/50 sheets | Freestyle Photographic Supplies

50 sheets for B&W for 30USD, which is about 40 bucks without shipping.

Anyone has experience with this film?

Losheng I think you needda create a thread for this.

Just posting some details with Maco 820IR 4x5.

Unlike the friendly Rollei IR400 or Kodak HIE, this guy is quite unforgiving. spectral sensitivity is only till 820 or 830. If you are using a Hoya R72, you're limited from 720 to 820/830. For visible light shooter, this guy starts off at around 450.

Reciprocity failure is tough with this guy. My advice with long exposure user is don't push the film under no reason as spectral sensitivity is low and your little detail will be as good as crap. (What isn't there, isn't there) Just a rough guide on reciprocity failure for this guy.

Meter in second: 1,2,4,8,15,30
Actual timing required in second: 2,4,8,24,60,180

30second will need a 6 minute exposure. My initial first shot is metered ISO 15 with 1.5 minute, I adjusted it to 2.5 min. (Considering that nothing came worst than Shanghai 100 reciprocity failure) To my horror, nothing is exposed at all. I uses a Hoya R72 on the initial shot.

The below are my most successful test subject. Special thanks to Patrick (Sweat100) and Kgston for all concern. Thanks to Raytoei for organizing the first MO from freestyle so that I can share films with Patrick. (Patrick, time to post yours liao. :))

Sorry for the unclear photo as it is still drying. Setting for the shot:

Visible light, ISO 100 for test test see see
ISO 6 and Hoya R72.

Metering for both films are around zone 2. Sorry for such unclear and not well placed and exposed photo as I am still drying the film.
