The problem with bidding such large stuff from america is that their shipment is Free and we have to pay 106USD for shipment:cry:. I place a snipe of 150USD, if there isn't shipment, I can place up to 200USD and win that easily.

Have always wanted a wooden tripod for vibration damper on long shutter with panning function. :(

i saw some wooden tripod at K-13 last time, not sure if they are still there..

Start a new thread bah, this one a lot of chit chat liao.

Poison spreading, not a good thing to see this thread too often :)

Since I was the TS and its to ask for more info about the world of LF. Of course I would like to see a Share a LF photos or a LF user thread. Just wait till the LF users build up. Once my speed graphic gets here im sure I'll be asking you guys for help again!

LF --> Developing LF films --> LF Outing --> Wooden tripod for LF (All about LF)

Trying to cover up my chit chat track;p

The idea is nowadays, people are getting lack of information and most are towards happy shooting. While it is good for the current film users and industry, I personally hope that they can know more about the film and type of developer they are using rather than just reviews and stuff like Film A and B is very good, just ignore the rest (Don't know about others type and don't bother also). I am still a frog in the well even when shooting 4*5 and do wish to try and know more than just a premix D-76 or HC110. Also experience for myself other type of photography and larger format.

The idea is that nowadays, you cannot get everything through by just scanning. (You do can do prints to compact it to the paper 1.8D and scan with normal paper scanner) Digital archieve is good, but to see the actual thing with a lightbox and loupe is a better learning from my POV. I am quite sure uncle roger will agree with me on above point. :D

Hope it comes before the postponed outing.

Agree as well, but can drop by to take a look. Still unhappy over the loss @ evilbay.

Speaking of devil, ShadowLeong, I am thinking which tripod you are using, cause I tried my camera with a ball head (on paper saying able to withstand my camera weight) once and interestingly, my camera will slowly drop forward as I am framing. As such, I am using a tripod with the sinar clamp on it directly. Leveling only with the leg and Tilt shift ability of my camera.
