Nooo...

Hand carry FTW!!! You will never get to places like Bai Di Cheng with a LF in trolley...

I beileve its the fuji FP film

Yes. It comes with excellent condition 4x5 camera front / rear standard with ground glass ( grid ). 99% of the paint work is still good ( can see from the pictures ) All knobs and movement are smooth and tight.
Bellow is light tight and condition still new ( flexible ).
- polaroid back ( tested and is fully functioning )
- 4x lupe ( almost new )
- 210mm F6.8 lens ( condition 5 / 10 )

The lens condition is quite bad, so ... the seller is like half buy, half give...
Lens coating is not consistent ( separation ), the shutter works only at high shutter speed. At lower shutter like 1/8 ~ 1 sec, the timing is completely off.

Focusing lever , aperture and winder is working properly.

Can someone suggest a repair man to me , so that I can get the shutter to be re-calibrated and the lens to be clean up a little bit.

regards,
Billy

** just added **
Yes, the polaroid back is actually using FP100C ( some people call instant film ).

I am not sure if there are people who repair Copal shutter.(I never had a spoiled one yet) Maybe can try those old shops like Camera Hospital? Just give them a ring. But I am not sure if the repair cost is about the cost of getting another new shutter from EvilBay. You get what I mean?

asking a very stupid question.... please don't laugh.

How to remove the lens from the lens board ?
do I need to remove the retaining ring ? or just unscrew the rear element and then pull from the front ?

many thanks in advance,
Billy

You need to unscrew the rear element and the retaining ring in order to remove lens from lens board.:)

Lens or shutter?

Lens:
Rear Lens cell unscrew and Front Lens cell unscrew thats all.

Shutter:
Rear and Front Lens cell unscrew, unscrew retaining pin using the H shape wretch (Dunno what it is call), or carefully with a adjustable spammer. But careful about the blades as they are delicate.

thanks thanks... got it ...

Don't take chances with flimsy lens spanners. Can get away most of the time, but glide one across a lens surface or poke a shutter blade and you will wish you spent $100 instead of $50.

Will show you the next time.

Why not just help him take it out. Not like one is going to remove and put back the retaining ring everyday? Anyway I think I made a mistake typing retaining ring as retaining pin. Guess I am still living with the army even after ORD. :(

if weather is good tmr morning, i will probably drag my trolley out again to a few spots in Toa Payoh. trying to cover a few old style playgrounds in the town. PM me if you want to join me :)

i took this dragon playground last year. it was one of my first few shots after i got my 4X5 cam. many mistakes were made on this shot.
The few blocks around this playground was targeted for SERS development but is now used as rental flats but i guess it will be redeveloped soon and this playground might not stay.

here is an article on old style playgrounds : http://remembersingapore.wordpress.com/toa-payoh-dragon-playground/
