I thought VC25 fly itself without decoy, its only his land vehicles that will have decoys.

but before air force one arrives i think his advance party transporter carrying his limo must come first.

There are two identical modified B747-200 for US Presidential use, the VC-25 and VC-25A. The latter is so-called the backup.

ya, what i meant is other's in thread say they were waiting for a back up.
So far i know VC25s dun travel in pairs unless there is a need to (big delegation)

VC25 was in Singapore in 2007 without the president due to the size of delegation.

From here to shanghai is usually around 5 hours.
Depending on weather at both countries and the number of traffic in the sky.

Weather shouldn't play a very big part for AFO, it being a 744. Traffic in the sky? What traffic? It's AFO.

It all depend on weather. Sometime it's very hazy , so can't take off.

Air Force One is a Boeing 747-200 (742), not a 747-400. It is configured with 744 engines and technology though.

Negative. Any aircraft carrying POTUS is always cleared. The exact aircraft carrying POTUS is often unknown till just before touch down. Hence air space is closed till POTUS gets down safely. I say this with the authority of someone who has dealt with the US extensively. Cheers.

Nice explanation bro KNL-17. Many do not know that the aircraft of the POTUS is on extremely high security protection and clearance. Hope this will enlighten them. :bsmilie:

Thanks! Quite impossible to obtain high shutter speed unless using ISO51200 or above, F2-2.8. That would mean a D3S + 200 F2 which I don't have...haha

So no choice got to pan at low shutter speed.
