Thanks.. had to shoot so many times to get this!

I don't think so Jon.You are the first to teach me everything there is to know, and I'm still learning from you.I'm just bits and pieces of what you and others are doing with ease..

I love this one...good composition and the reflection is superb!

good one Jon!

Thank you thomas! That one was special because I took that in the rain. =)

Excellent series :thumbsup::heart:

some nice work here.

will comment again later, since not using a calibrated monitor.

particularly like the punggol shots, perhaps in part because i love that place.

understand that you like large size shots, but until i get my planned desktop (and even then, i would not put up such large sizes), it can be quite painful to view your works here on a laptop, like having to form a jigsaw puzzle in my mind and scroll up and down to fill the gaps in - can make composition a bit hard to comment on.

just highlighting the first shot, the effect of the sky is nice, the tyre is a cool anchor subject, but i thought needed just a wee bit more breathing space around it.

i do like the lightning shot for what is showcased there, but i can't say i like the composition with psuedo-lead-ins which end up as slashing diagonals. i know how some sites spout the line that diagonals add to composition, but i never quite understood how - perhaps for abstract images, but not for landscapes for sure (at least for me).

Yeah I realised my photos too huge. lol I put my images on deviant art so when it's on full image it doesn't look that huge there. Maybe you can try ctrl + or - to increase or decrease your browser size? I'm not sure if that works for every browser type but it does on google chrome.

Perhaps, Maybe I'll relook at the photo once again later on. It does look abit strange for some reason or another.

For the lightning shot.. the place was kinda restricted.. so couldn't really explore.. and besides being in an open field during a lightning storm.. I wasn't really too worried about composition at that point of time. hah

yes, i know that method, can ctrl + mouse wheel. the images start looking jagged when they fit on my laptop though (12 or 13")... sadly. :(

Mourn_by_Draken413o.jpg

Mourn

Before I got to Changi, an indian funeral rite was in procession. I walked pass quietly and stood in awe of the scene before me.

Perhaps it was the soul of the deceased that granted me such a greatness to capture.

rest well and be reborned to a better time.
