Ladders - Useful but a Hazard to Public?

this gives photographers a bad name.

will not be surprised is shopping centers enforce stricter rules on photographers or put a ban on photographers in the future if this carries on.

Easy way to solve. Ladders and photographers at the back. People watching in front. Sheesh... I remember seeing that at Marina Square. How inconsiderate.

...the inconsiderate photogs u pointing(ladder or no ladder) came one or two hrs before the show start.....
so u expecting them to gave up their positions for the spectators who just came?
Fyi..the official photographer yesterday also used prop to get a better overview....

Tsk tsk... getting it so personal, you obviously missed the idea of being considerate to the ones behind, nobody is asking the photographers to move to the back. :nono:

As the official, I'd do anything to get the shot, even if necessary a ladder, it's up to the individual official photographer however to be considerate for others, but when they have a jobs to dliever, he has to deliver.

How about thost on ladders? Deliver to CS to get ego boost - "Wah... so sharp" "eye level shot"? Heh...

I'm not even interested in going, why would I want to go there and shoot these things when it's already so crowded, it's mutual respect for all to be considerate for each other, I don't need to say "espn is here, please give way" if the basic understanding of COURTESY and CONSIDERATION for others is there.

No need to be sacarstic, because by saying all these you are doing nothing but making yourself look idiotic and very guilty over using ladders being inconsiderate at the expense of others.

I don't need to be a hero, I just need to be considerate to others.

my method is to snap them with face, submit to Straits Times forum.

think it is time to give my contact in Straits Times a call.
maybe get their reporters down to do the job instead of myself. :think:

They could at least could have set up and gave a little space for the spectators to watch, because the whole show wasn't only for photographers only.

Talk about consideration? I think you are too lazy to use quote function, asking people to go all the way to search what you post doesn't seem considerate also?

I thought I need to pay to watch a movie, I didn't know I need to pay to shoot the fashion show. If people queue early to get good seat what's wrong with that??? I think there are still other not as good spot to watch that fashion show.

As far as I know, eow didn't own a ladder for fashion shoot, as least not yet.

This thread just create an avalanche of destructive /negative image for the photogs at the event

Actually from the start to the present, no one is condemning the use of the ladders, everyone is condemning how the ladders were used. Please get that fact right.
