Ladders - Useful but a Hazard to Public?

I was there yesterday too, no ladders there. Usually for a 7pm show, ladders will be position by 6pm. But not for the past couple of days. And as for yesterday, both photographers and public had good view. Let's hope this kinda good attitude is long term and not just for these few days only.

i use a trunk case to stand upon. no need ladder
for those who dont want to be accused of being impolite laddermen, switch to trunk case now ;) end of the day u just dump the gear inside and walk away just pretend to be another passerby

Crazy buggers.... think they eat glass for meals.:bsmilie:

Think best to post mugshots.;p

Maybe under portraits or action, lights....

You can title it....
"LG wall spotted! Identify the nicks!":bsmilie:

Hahah You want Mug shot ? I do have all of them... :P

migth want to change to take ladderman mugshot ... than the event itself ..

peace we love no ladder no chair .....

I thought a shot today showed some on ladder and blocking people's view again? :dunno:

why would there be so many jokers shooting from a slightly different angle from each other... expecting vastly different results? :bsmilie:

i'd rather keep my camera and walk around and observe these kind of jokers. poseurs.

This is not about the ladder hazard, this is about the selfish behaviour of some photographers.

LadderTri/Mono-podTracker :D

Maybe Manfrotto will design a multi-purpose-tripod-cum-ladder? Can even make it carbon fibre, hello?

Next time they should rent hydraulic platform complete with whatever-pods... LOL.... basket.

I do hope photographers show some decency, as I agree with espn and many others out there.

Maybe the organisers can also give it some thought about setting aside a space for the photographers and those who want to see the performance? But its kinda bad that the photographers had to hog the front and then "elevate" themselves and spoil the fun of those who wanted to see the performers....

Maybe its time organisers also arrange for projection screens like those in concerts?

Nevertheless, I will think twice about being a public nuisance.
