L lens for canon but what is there for Nikon?

I take it that L lens fluorite ultra low dispersion lens element is the equivalent of the ED tht is found in Nikkor lenses.

Try taking a look at the VR colour,usually "PRO" lens have a gold colour while normal has a red colour if i'm not wrong. Do correct me if i'm wrong..haha ;p

Wrong... The AFS 70-200 has red VR logo. There's not much prominent marketing hype on the top grade Nikon lenses.

There are "Pro" lenses that don't have VR leh...
