Paging paging for John, faster plan next trip!![]()
Melvyn, we did some shooting at the frog pond and along the side of the road about 100 meters before and after the pond.
Thats where we got two Malayan Horned frogs, the stream frogs and the Litter frog. Our trip was handled by a Kuching Travel
Agent with a professional guide who knew where to get all the frogs, the bird of paradise, kingfishers, etc.... He had a tape recorder
to call wild birds for us to shoot......hehe....:bsmilie::bsmilie:

Aya.... walk to frog pond very sian, so far + upslope. Like that die die must go frog pond if going there againRemember what time you reach the pond?
If I remember correctly, the agent arranged for us to stay in the bungalows in the Kubah Park itself along the road going up the hill
and drove us up the hill in a small van to the pond. So we were shooting from after dinner 8pm to 11pm.
Your newly uploads are very nice.
Haiii... the Dead Leaf Mantis is indeed very nice... too bad it came down after i walked away to shoot the hopper.
#101 is a nice pose.. swee
And this happened when John & Nick went back to sleep... haha
More reasons to go againAfter going seeing Lew frog photos, i also got alot of Haiii, should have force myself, you and the others to frog pond hahaha
the Frog Pond is how many kilometres away ah? can fly there or not ah?![]()
Love the shots especially on the pseudoscorpion #88. Too bad no full body shot of seeing them in action of tugging the insect.
Shot one before in LP wood railing but can only see it claws emerging only to hangon to another scorpion. #89 looks like there are many of them hidding and waiting in line for preys. are these shots near the chalets?
Great shots again Melvyn.
