just a few samples. the whole batch of it is like this!

Wat is the use of the photos that came out like that? You got bring it & show them in their face a not?

I was trying to tell everyone about KT's bad service around October last year when someone at CS bombarded me with tons of hate mails. Also, I was forced to delete my thread.

Now, the truth is out. However, I have already switched to Triple D. Their service is .

Who is the person that bombarded you with many HATE mails? Maybe can tell here.

my experiences have only been good at KT and will continue to use them. :)

What's the resolution of the files that you pass to them. Seems that the reso was too big for a 4R print to me. For 4R, it is better to pass them at 1200 x 1800. Also, to print fit in or fill in may cause this problem.

Do you let them do adjustment on your print or you tell them no adjustmen? If they do adj, they will realise it, but if they dun, they wont.

I think it is better to feedback to them communicate with them when you send in your next batch. :)

 Really?!?
My case in 2004, based purely on fact, had all my posts removed.
I used to be quite close with them until my lost CD incident.

On an objective note, there are a number of decent (if not better) Fuji FDI labs out there.
> TripleD (Burlington Square) - my regular lab, excellent service, excellent quality, owner very nice guy.
> Professional Art (Havelock Road) - they do drop off your prints if you have regular/quantity, their owner is a very nice guy.
> Aspario (Senett Estate) - Very good QC (IMO), though a little on the slow side.
> Grace Digital (Sunset Way) - most of those around Clementi go there, I think.

The thing I do with labs is I try to have a a two-way trusting relationship. I trust my labs to do a good job and not make silly mistakes, and I make good my promise to give them repeat business. But one mistake is all I will stomach.

I also make sure I communicate my print requirements CLEARLY to them. There is a distinct difference between fit-in, fill-in and no-resize (that is why Drumma had prints screw up). Even things like paper to be used is important, though after a while, your regular lab should know you well enough. Unfortunately, this is where a lot of people, CSers included, think they are above it all.

However, I will not speak for KT. Not anymore.

i'm going to bring down later in the afternoon.
the first pic is alright and i went off already. partly in a rush and i trusted as well. they've never made any mistakes for me.

it's not the first time i've printed there.. i've printed there alot of times with sizees like 3000x2000 for 4R and they've done it all well.
usually i told them no colour correction, and don't do anything. just print as it is. should have realised it when i saw my S8R prints cropped on the same day. the best part is that they told me my files are not 3:2 ratio. really nonsensical.

WTF! that should and must warrant a refund! it's as good as not printing!

KT solves my crisis without fail yet.

I have not found any problems with their printing.

As with any transaction, its ALWAYS 2-way. If you go into a place with "I-AM-THE-KING-YOU-BETTER-BOW-TO-ME" kind of attitude, then naturally friction will occur. Usually, you will end up winning your case, cos after all, you ARE the paying customer. But winning at what cost?

Kim Tian, or for that matter, any other lab, are staffed by human beings. Human beings laugh, cry, feel hurt, sadness, happiness, etc... In other words, humans have feelings. We have emotions. We as human beings DO make mistakes. If you do not allow mistakes to occur then there will be no progress... There is this acronym which I love very much.. Its known as "AFI: Area for Improvement". It is precisely that we are humans that we have AFIs. Good companies have best practices, but they also AFIs.

My 2 cents: Learn to forgive, laugh at our mistakes, laugh at KT's mistakes. Make them happy, and your prints will exude the happiness of the staff doing the printing for you. They WILL want to print your photos because they WANT to, NOT because they HAVE to.

As it is life is already full of problems. Why add another one??

Just went there about 2 weeks ago. Got my prints fast and steady. for KT.

Never had a problem with them.

KT's service may not be the best in town, but their price is one of the lowest if I am not wrong.... yes, I do agree, price is not everything. But so far my experience with KT has been OK even thought I am not a regular.
