Kota Kinabalu & the Mythical Mountain

Hi all,
Just came back from a down-the-memory-lane trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah....Here's some shots.

#1 - On the first day, went to this Kampung called Kampung Gayang somewhere out of the city (near Sepanggar & Nexus Karambunai) for some good seafood. When i reached there, the tide was going out and managed to capture this shot.

#2 - On the next day, bright and early, we went to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park which comprises of 5 Islands - Pulau Gaya (the biggest), Pulau Mamutik, Pulau Manukan, Pulau Sapi (the smallest) and Pulau Sulug. Anyway, i only chartered a boat to take us to Pulau Sapi & then to Pulau Manukan. Here's a shot of KK from the boat.

#8 - The following day, again damn early in the morning, my good buddy drove me to a hill top retreat called Kokol near the town of Menggatal. It's actually situated on part of the Crocker Range and from there, there's a good shot of Mt. Kinabalu in the morning sunrise. Was hoping to see some sun rays but alas, it was cloudy. Woke up like 4am to reach the hill top at 5am cos sunrise is at 5.40am. (Sabah is nearly 1 hour ahead in time but using standard singapore timing). The first few sunrise shots were all too darn dark for any IR images, which is expected la. This shot was something like 6.10am like that IIRC.

#9 - This is another shot but at approx. 6.30am.
