was lucky at today's trip to the Thieve's Market over at Sungei Rd, near Kelantan Lane. found this little gem (Konica C35 Automatic) in good shape, took a gamble and bought the camera at $15 after much haggling from $25.

went over to Sim Lim Tower, no one knew the battery replacement for the MALLORY PX-675 1.3v Mercury Battery, so I tried my luck at the Sim Lim Square and some uncle replaced it with a LR44 (or A76) and the needle came to life.

So... anyway, my question is... how do you use the Bulb exposure mode? I've already turned the function ring to align with the marking on the lens barrel but the shutter doesn't stay for as long as i depress the button. I even tried a trigger release cable but it didn't work at well.

Could my shutter be broken? Or perhaps just the bulb mode? If the bulb mode is broken, will the other shutter speeds be affected also?

While pressing down the guide number button, rotate the guide number ring and bring the reading "B'' in line with the index mark for B (bulb) exposure shooting, With B exposure, the shutter will remain open as long as the shutter button is kept depressed. This method is suitable for the taking of pictures with long exposure at night. During "B" the lens is fully opened at f/2.8. For B exposure, use a tripod and the cable release.

yea i believe i've done that. darn, maybe i'll send it for servicing.. but then again, i don't use the B mode very often.

i'm running a test roll through it. hope everything else is okay!

eh thanks again ricohflex! :)
