Hi,

I just wanted to share this video link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDWeAHd6D6w

i have recently read about Leica M9 and downright drooling over it. wish i have the $$$$ for it but it's definately lightyears away for me.

Anyway, i'm sure someone would have already seen the clip. but do enjoy the light moments.

thks.

Thanks for sharing. Very funny:bsmilie:

:D :D :D Love IT!!!! it is quite sad too... as it depicts the truth here in singapore. I can't find even a single shop in parkway parade or siglap centre that carries a normal fuji or kodak film... let alone a proper lab that can process them....

Very very impressive and funny shot film.... :bsmilie:

Truely admire the creative artist behind this edited film shot.

Can never stop technology changing product lifespan, just like word processor on typewriter. Thank for sharing.

great funny video Yeo, I like it. I guess spell check companies can also cash in on this business :)

That is very very funny and wittily done.

Hahah.....couldn't help laughing out loud!

Yes, but sad that the fact Kodachrome is discontinued. I shot exclusively in Kodachrome at one time. Due to the unique technology, the colours almost never fade, even in Singapore's humid conditions.

Interesting to note that the film was invented by two musicians!

(Check Wikipedia)

The video is very funny! Nice one~ How come ken rockwell is inside? ha.

Thanks for sharing.

This is really funny!

May be Leica should release a M9 Kodachrome Limited Edition!

Uh, why would a film commemorate a digital camera? :dunno: Unless Kodak wants to pass on a secret (and sacrilegious) message about their CCD in the M9 being no match for film! Hmm...

Nothing to do with film vs digital. Leica is well-known with coming up all sorts of special editions. If Leica releases a K9 special and charges a fortune, the collectors will pay. Kodachrome shot with Leica were reference materials.

Look at the older Nat Geo magazines. Most of them were shot with Kodachrome. Here is link to a couple of Kodachrome websites:

If you are based in Oz, I can understand how you could have shot K64/200 a lot. Back in the 1980s/1990s, those who shot K64/200 in Singapore had to put the film in the special envelope and send to Australia for processing, a turn around of almost 3 weeks. Hence why a small "legion" of us all went to Velvia 50 when it appeared......of course, that debate (Velvia vs Kodachrome) is either long dead or overtaken by the times.....:)

It was just a tongue-in-cheek comment. ;)
