KM or Sony service center?

Something happen to my view finder. I was cleaning it when the glass on the view finder pop inwards. Guess I got to send it back to the service centre again.:cry:

I just brought my D5D for a trip which was nearly 2 weeks long.. was thinking of sending it for servicing. Would I need to pay for it?:dunno:

I wonder if they would take long to repair the view finder. I hope to get it fix by friday.

Just send my camera to fix the view finder. The guy at the counter had all my data. The guy could not tell me when it would be fix though.

Just call them today. They got it fix. They intially wanted me to pay SGD10.50 for it claiming it was missuse. After I argued with them they waved it off.

Looks horrendously complicated... just what u need to dissuade enterprising 3rd party techs from dismantling the camera...
