Yah... Its the printer business which they are concentrating on. They sold the camera business, they didn't capitulate you know. They are concentrating their R&D and promotional funds to printing instead of diversifying it into camera business too.

if you compare US prices of the 7D, it has dropped extremely tremendously low, with some only at USD700. somehow, singapore prices are still high at the 22XX range.

i mainly judged the prices from cnet. at first, i thought that the cheap prices for 7D in cnet is just pure marketing gimicks with lots of TC applied. but when i view the 20D prices, they look acceptable.

but thats still cheaper new than an offer on CS for a used unit recently. btw where's the km booth? walked the 4th floor today and quickly browsed the 6th but didn't see it... forgot to check in the corners of the Sony booth..
