Always wanted to shoot that building but didn't figure out how to frame it better.
 

Never studied the building in detail before. I just happened to be there and took a grab shot of it.

8 Heeren Street is a 2-storey shophouse built in mid-late 1700s. It was saved from total dilapidation and conserved by Badan Warisan Malaysia. During the conservation, original building materials were documented and painstakingly reinstated in attempt to return the building to its original state.

The building now serves as model and advisory centre for Malacca's heritage conservation effort.

Sure, this is No. 8 Heeren Street aka Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock in Malacca. This shop house is located at the Malacca River end of the street and 5 minutes walk from the famous Jonker Street. I'll see if I can find a map.
