All this is too funny.
You don't even need to have a TV or watch a movie to be bombarded by disturbing images of rape and murder. Just open the newspaper. Just because an idea is, as some of you have said, perverse and disturbing, it doesn't make it a bad idea. That said, just because no one else has depicted rape and murder in this way doesn't make it a good idea to do so. :bsmilie:
However, another way to view the series is to take it like a comic book come to life- frames of scenes that, when put together, tell a story. The fact that so many of you are convinced by this photo series just goes to show how good actors the models are, so :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: for them and for the photog.
There are more and more models in Singapore posing in slutty lingerie and in more and more suggestive and provocative poses, with their legs spread, squeezing their boobs together, looking like they're having orgasms, wearing thongs and bikinis small enough for viewers to know that they get Brazilian waxes. They've become Maxim-Playboy hybrids with a tiny fraction of the quality of those magazines (though that's not saying much). How come nobody bashes the photographer for shooting soft porn? Those of you who suggested that this depiction of kidnap and rape is a disservice to women, is soft porn somehow better or "not as bad"? There is historical evidence that soft porn showed up in China and India long before Europe, and history has shown that Asians invented the most efficient means of torture, so don't blame every perversity on the West.

Yup, Good job sprintist, (and models johnny and tiffany) for executing a provocative theme, well planned and shot (realism to the point of questions about your intent), and keeping your cool in all your replies. You were able to graciously accept the extremely negative comments, that each is entitled to his own views, and even when the other party does not let it rest at that, you had the patience to explain what you have been explaining so many times here. I would not have had that patience.
i don't claim to be righteous or very open minded, i profess i am not, but i just feel that to be seemingly classified with loose moral standards to tolerate the photos is not very fair. i am not a supporter of violence against females just because i find this series of photos interesting as a different approach. I understand the concerns against avocating violence but i don't see it so here, it is just a well-planned and staged photography attempt.
anyway i guess we each see different compositions of elements in the photos: creativity, perversion, skill, execution, whatever etc... So good job :thumbsup

and to all those who think that this is distasteful then the tv show u watch in movie or mediacorp all distasteful because so many includes such scenes and so hence all are trying to say that violence are encourage and bla bla bla bla.

i'm pretty free now, sch holidays so maximising time and enjoying myself...pp is a chore haha but happy after seeing the results
