Ya bro, I give up on my 93 civic liao. From now on i want to travel slow and steady and comfy, haha.

Thanks for all the links, very useful.

nick considering a new ride? i think its possible considering that the wish could fetch roughly 14 km per litre n I heard that my frens stream could do that too. Technology certainly helped in area. pricing of car is good at this moment however the financing part will counter balance it.

WIsh is on my wish list, haha, but I don't trust buying cars from PI, unless u have someone u know that u can recommend.

just got my from my fren .. maybe u wanna consider ? Yup he was from my office and now is a PI

hi, i am ex-kia rio owner:cry: ! fc about 10-11 litre/km (70%expressway/30% normal road), overall kia serve my well! when to genting highland a few time last year and no problem!;)

i just change my car to a 1.5L MPV toyota sienta and the fC is about 15.5-16.2litre/km:) :) . if you are thinking about a family car w/o much performance you may consider the sienta. check out www.sgsienta.com:lovegrin:

sorry it should be 15.5-16.2km/litre! :bsmilie just woke up; pm me if u want to look at the car

main thing is your RIGHT FOOT..!!!

the harder u step, the more petrol consume, thus more $$$...

Hehe totally agree! My Mazda3 fetched only 9+ km/l until one day I kena shot by TP, heng it's only a warning letter ... After that I drive like a good citizen, slow pick up from start, smooth acceleration, never more than 3K rpm and 100kmph in expressway ... guess what FC went up to 11+!!! Good enough for my petrol-guzzling MZ3!

Cheers!

Wow, I didn't know such a small car can sit 7, this is really cool and may be just the car for me. Thanks for letting me know about this car, I will go check out how much it cost.

erm... if ur paramount concern is FC, then it's either a toyota or honda, IMO.

but, if u want to find your car easily in a car park, anything but the 2 mentioned (& nissan). :bsmilie:

i'm driving a cerato auto now. averages ard 10-11km/L. i get ard 400+km per top-up on normal sg start-stop traffic. not too bad. i just installed the broquet in-tank fuel thingy. lets see if i can squeeze more mileage out of per tank. other than the so-so FC, everything else in the kia is not dat bad actually, compared to the early days of korean cars. good for family usage. wifey and i thinking we might get the carens (or its replacement) the next time we scrap this current car. ;)

Carens is sweee! Like SUV. Got one website review I read that says "The only thing bad about the Carens is that it's a Kia", haha. Anyway, latest news, Carens OMV is around $18k, not bad for a Kia.

Cerato full tank is 55L?

Used to drive a Kia Spectra... FC is around 9.5 to 11.0 km/l depending on the traffic and my driving style. Served me well for 4 years. Kia is not too bad a car than most think.

Switched to conti car just recently... (but not Scaglietti :p)
