in Nepal, all tourists are welcomed with a garland of local flowers , it is deemed rude to remove it before u get into your room once presented

English standards are a little behind, but they do really try. Local policeman flutter between legal and unlegal.

A melting pot of many cultures. We ran into S.Koreans, Japanese, French, Germans, Chinese etc etc.

One of the many 'generic' and claiming to be selling 'authentic' Nepal antiques and handicrafts shops. Bargain for at least 20% off quoted prices.

many prefer to run their own mom&pop shops, selling whatever they can Here profits are ranked 2nd as most of the time we always see the shopowners more busy having a cuppa of coffee/tea with their neighbors than running the shopfronts.
