K5 Stock

Got my K5 at 6.30pm just now. Got two bros there most probably to collect their K5 when i left. Nw on my way to get my GGS then home to update the firmware..

Edit: I also saw the new gold colour MIJ DA 35 F2.4 which Ronald said is limited edition and will be up for sales soon. For those who might be interested.

i saw the DA35 earlier & it was the first thing that caught my attention when i entered ronald's office. fell for it instantly! :lovegrin: (went for the silver though). as aaron mentioned, u guys might want to call ronald as i was told they have limited stocks.

just called one of the sales rept from SLRR. Looks like delayed again till monday. Allegedly coz the shipment got stolen.
Fine. But come monday, if they come up with another CSB and tell me its delayed till xx date, i'm just about ready to cancel my order and grab from another shop.

don't be so hasty... if the whole shipment is delayed, then none of the shops will have stock anyway :bsmilie: u willing to cancel order also there'll be no stock elsewhere to sell u.

I ordered two from emjay. Mine available. But my fren K5 got problem. Same story. Shipment stolen. felt bad for my fren but he was quite ok and willing to wait though he still in denial. :bsmilie:

If Emjay said the same reason for some delays, then I'm fine with it.

I know SLR Revo has good prices and a friend who bought a Sigma super-wide lens for a wedding project 2 weeks back was impressed with their prices and service when I intro-ed here there.

Just that the wait is rather agonizing and if I can get from Emjay, would rather get from there.

BTW, never had a chance to intro myself here.
Just started DSLR photography in July after a close friend sold a cheap training camera to me (Canon 10D) to play with.
After taking part in the Canon PhotoMarathon, realized I needed a better camera.
Was gonna go down the Canon / Nikon path until same close friend introduced Pentax to me and I was all sold.
Got a red K-x for my wife 4 weeks back to let her try DSLR photography as well and now waiting for my K-5.
The K-x is really an amazing piece of machine. Compact, small and yet packed with all the features I need not to mentioned cheap for the masses.

I had a walkabout with it on Wednesday at my local mosque to cover the annual sacrificial event of Hari Raya Haji and the mosque's photographers were ogling over the red "toy camera" as I called it.
