more than SGD 500.
I personally wouldn't do it at this point - I think it's probably nicer to spend the money towards some nice primes, and to get the 16-50 2.8 when that arrives.

I got mine for $650 with a UV filter. Not sure if this is a good deal.

was at cathay marina square. they selling the body for $1380 there.
I held the camera in my hand. Although its big, it also feels very solid. the rubberlike feel of the body gives it a tough feel as compared with the smooth body of my K100D.
And man, there are so many more buttons. I did notice the battery compartment latch is quite unique. Twist and open. That it cannot use AA batteries could be a minus point as I have learnt from using my K100D. Battery dead? Pop by store and get some!...
Bu the price is very close to what I paid for the K100D...those who are using ist series or looking to go for a DSLR should get the K10D..no questions asked! I myself have more purchase resistence due in fact that the K100D has many of the features of the K10D, so the improvement may not be as significant.

now with the camera out, I do hope Shriro will take advantage of the flow and make available the whole range of pentax lenses at their premises, so that those we cannot get in retail can get from them. Otherwise it may become like a train that has run out of steam...

After following this thread for sometime, I finally got this Dual lens kit from MSColor this evening for $1830 (GST inclusive) with 1GB, tamrac sling bag and 2 UV filter thrown in. Did not bargain much as stocks are quite limited. Not sure if this is a good deal but no extra charge for credit card payment.
Have also checked prices at other places over the phone and for the benefits of other, here it is
