You must order from japan :sweat: ,there are 5 coloured hand grips for each of the 20 different colours [some colours are only available for certain body colours] so theres a total of 100 different combinations !:lovegrin:

Need 2 weeks wait after order. Wanted a yellow/black but cant stay 2 weeks in Japan. :sweat:

Anyways, yesterday went to Esplanade with Salblade for some Landscape shot. There we some N & C user blocked the great view for me & my fren to take pic. They were waiting for the Golden Hour but I didnt know there will be a firework display.

Anyways, when we took out our camera, suddenly I heard they were whispering "Pentax...shshshhs" "Pentax shshshshs" lol. Didnt get much.

Then I heard again "Pentax got color?" one N user relply "Confirm SLR, Pentax dun have DSLR" wah kao....haiz.

Then when I turn on the White K-x, they said again "Eh, DSLR la...Pentax got DSLR" oh yah, and they gave us this cold long stares like we are not welcome.

agree... i've given up on making pple see sense already... u seemingly "contradict" them and they will just dig in and get stubborn :sticktong

am example: just happened to be comparing pix with a few acquaintance over the weekend... pix from my KX and some pix taken from C and N prosumer models.

there were some "oooh" and "ahhh" from the C and N pix cos the cam had essentially processed the jpg to death to hide all the flaws and "enhance" the colours...

i pointed out that the output looked a bit funny because a particular natural landscape shot i took showed the colours "as is" while in the C and N pix, the brownish trees and shrubs were orange / red :bigeyes:

they immediately got defensive and said "liddat then nice mah! C & N are known to produce more vibrant colours" ...

i was like :dunno: ... happy can already lor...

These are foolish ppl whom are narrow minded & like frogs in the well... think the photography world only made out of Canon & Nikon. They are so 'sua gu' & like empty vessels, makes a lot of noise... :bsmilie:

That's why i think people should hang their fashionable colour K-x on their neck and strut on the street. That way, more people coming back from the mountain will notice a trend these days. From riscal thread at kopitiam, i don't think i mind people hanging their expensive heavy necklace and walk about as fashionable accessories, nice thread.:thumbsup:

Please get a comfortable strap if you decided to do or you'll get the same rifle sling abrasion back in the old NS days I still remember the burning pain!
