worthwhile investment for the 18-200mm, then sell the kit lens? or just stick to dual?

then 2 card, filter, the lowerpro bag *not sure what its called but their handwritten tag is KEZ*
plus i add my batts and charger abt 100 bucks
total "1500 still got change" was all i remember lol :embrass:

but now to think of it.. heck, i'll just stick with the dual, 2 card, hoya filter *how much does multicoated ones cost?* and then find a cheap thick bag for the cam and lens

by the way.. any bros know K-X is made in? office is actually where for warranty?

50-200 shouldnt be 1170 it should be the 55-300

The ~2000 mHA NiMH batteries are usually http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low_self-discharge_NiMH_battery whereas the ~2700 mHA are standard NiMH. They can both be used no problem, just that the normal NiMHs don't hold their charge for more than a couple of weeks so you need to make sure you recharge them before you bring them out.

Ok thanks to those that responded to my quickie question. Have a better idea on rechargeable batteries... cool:thumbsup:

Since my last visit the tamron 18-200mm cost $380 and the sigma one cost $430 . so if you buy the single lens kit + tamron =782 + 380 =$1162. well you get the convenience if thats what you want from that lens. btw any1 knows which is better ?:dunno: I read up reviews about the two lenses and both have their own weak and strong points :sweat: ,but i still chose the sigma over the tamron [better pictures from the reviews,smaller,lighter,looks nicer "to me anyways" and has a red ring (like "L" series :bsmilie]

Interesting question as to where the KX is made in, check out the contents and all the small print on the box, all I can see is the lens is assembled in Vietnam, CD-Rom is made in Hong Kong, USB cable made in China, the four AA Lithium batteries made in USA and strap made in Philippines but the Kx body itself is a still mystery Safe to assume the body is by Hoya Corporation in Japan?
